Cosy, comfortable traditional cottage available for self catering let in the beautiful rolling Aberdeenshire countryside. Two double bedrooms, dining room,  lounge,  conservatory, and downstairs bathroom.

The cottage is extremely well equipped. The contemporary kitchen benefits from an electric oven and induction hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and filter coffee machine. A tumble drier and tabletop freezer is available in the inner hall. We have provided an iron and ironing board, laundry basket and clothes airer.

A Smart TV complemented by a Blu Ray DVD player are available for use in the cosy lounge, warmed by the log burning stove.

The newly refurbished ground floor bathroom offers both a bath and electric over bath shower for convenience and is warmed by the heated towel rail

In the pheasant themed dining room there is a wide selection of games for after dinner enjoyment.

The Squirrel Away conservatory is truly delightful and offers views of the adjacent farmers’ fields, often filled with cows and sheep. You are likely to also catch sight of our resident rabbits, pheasants and a variety of birds.

Both well-appointed bedrooms are situated on the first floor.  The Cosy Cabrach room offers a king-sized bed and the Hare Haven is also king sized but can be twin-bedded room on request.  It has been styled with calming blue hues and crisp white bedding, creating a wonderful space to relax. Hanging space for the Hare Haven is in the adjacent cupboard in the upper hall.

The Mill is a fantastic base from which to explore the stunning Aberdeenshire countryside and the heritage of the Shire.  Located in the heart of Scotland’s Castle Trail you can easily discover some of the most famous and dramatic castles in Aberdeenshire. There is also easy access to the Malt Whisky Trail via the A95 & A96 trunk roads.

Alternatively, just relax in the conservatory with a dram over a game of chess, watching the wildlife dart around the pretty garden.
